New science directly challenges the millions-of-years dogma scattered throughout the blockbuster movie Jurassic World. The spring edition of the Creation Research Society Quarterly CRSQ is a special issue that focuses on the investigation of dinosaur proteins inside fossil bones. The last article in the issue presents never-before-seen carbon dates for 14 different fossils, including dinosaurs. Because radiocarbon decays relatively quickly, fossils that are even , years old should have virtually no radiocarbon left in them. Jurassic World characters repeatedly mention "million years ago" in the context of their dinosaurs.
When did Asteroids hit. See below and on our Carbon 14 dating page.
Carbon 14 Dating. Scientists descrribe it as a "startling find" especially since the dinosaur bone it was found in was reported to be million years old.
You dinosaur bone carbon dating consider, that you
Dinosaur organic matter found Imagine the impossibility of a dinosaur bone not turning to stone, not decaying and crumbling to dust and the contents inside the bone surviving.
What is involved would be million years of summer, winter, rain, snow, droughts, floods, earthquakes, crustal movement, perhaps a million or more of these events and yet this bone with its organic matter is still there. A few years ago scientists worldwide agreed that no organic material could ever survive beyond thousands of years. There are two possibilities here to explain what is happening.
One explanation is that somehow organic matter truly survives millions of years and we did not know it. The other more reasonable explanation is that these bones are not million years old and that the method used to determine that million year age is flawed.
Our research at the paleo group shows that the age determing method is in error. We have carbon dated dinosaur bones from all over the world and they all have easily measurable amounts of Carbon 14 in them. This proves that the bones are only thousands and not millions of years old.
If one does exhaustive research on dating methods one finds that carbon dating is more reliable more studied more widely used than any other dating method. It can also be cross checked by using historical data such as tree ring counting.
Will dinosaur bone carbon dating well
Dating methods that give ages in millions of years are more in doubt if one carefully studys the methods and assumptions. Our research has been largely ignored and mainstream science has even refused to test our results by trying their own carbon dating of dinosaur bones. This is not the scientific way, ignoring new information because it does not fit your present ideas!!
They have even refused to publish our findings in America. Our team published a paper in Scientific article on dating dinosaur bones in Germany and in the National Research Council of Italy in As little as years ago mainstream English speaking scientist did not believe that stones fell from the sky contrary to all the anecdotal evidence over the past centuries.
Asteroids are usually referred to as being a solid rock from outer space whereas comets are usually a mixture of ice and rock and typically burn up before hitting the earth.
In a large something from outer space destroyed thousands of acres of forest in Tunguska. Scientist for the last hundred years have been searching for a crator or remnants of space rock. Finally in scientist think they have found an impact site at the bottom of a nearby lake Cheko.
Whats at the bottom might be shattered rocks or impact melt or maybe a piece of meteorite.
National Geographic reports that scientist Dallas Abbott from Columbia University has been gathering data and announcing for the past ten years that a giant tsunami deposited ocean floor sediment on Madigascar.
The sediments cover an area 2 times the size of Manhattan and are over feet tall. Somewhere in the Indian ocean is thought to be where the giant asteroid struck that produced this giant wave.
More shocking is the fact that the microfossils in this sediment were dated to less than 7, years ago. The really disturbing conclusion is that civilization destroying bolides such as these have happened not millions of years ago but thousands of years ago. We agree with Dallas Abbott that dangerous meteors have struck the earth in recent times and that the governments of the world should be aware of this fact. In northern Arizona is a large Meteor Crater, the Barringer Crater, Its well preserved shape suggests a very recent origin.
During the last years numerous attempts have been made to determine when this event happened. The age of this event has varied from years ago toyears ago.
Consider, dinosaur bone carbon dating consider, that you
It all depends on what age determination method is used and what assumptions are made using the method. The Hopi Indians who live in that area have legends about the meteor's impact.
Since they would have been living in the area at the time to have observed and passed on a tradition of the event for posterity, that would limit the impact to less than 10, years ago. It is thought by some to have been the cause of the death of the dinosaurs.
Our research shows that all dinosaur bones tested have Carbon 14 in them which indicated that they are only thousands not millions of years old. Since that is the case if in fact these dinosaurs died as a result of the asteroid hit at Chicxulub then the asteroid hit also only thousands of years ago! Numerous unpetrified dinosuar bones found in Mesozoic strata have been dated and average 31, radio carbon years old.
The Mesozoic strata was laid down at the same time as the dinosaur bones and are the same age.
To determine the age of a dinosaur fossil, carbon dating can never be used. Carbon only works for fossils less than 75, years old. By the time a dinosaur fossil was found, any carbon the. Sep 14, * Carbon 14 in Dinosaurs at Singapore's American Geophysical Conference: On how to date a dinosaur, Real Science Radio's Bob Enyart interviews Hugh Miller, a member of the international scientific team that presented at the AGU geophysical conference in Singapore, the carbon dating results from five respected laboratories around the world. RADIOCARBON DATING OF BONE. Carbon 14 dating of bone is one of the most difficult tasks for carbon dating and requires the most care of any carbonaceous material. This is mainly due to the nature of bone which is a very porous material. Certain parts of bone .
This strata contains hundreds of asteroids which have been identified thus far. Now that we know the strata they struck is tens of thousands of years old and not millions of years old, we can see that asteroids arrive at a rate around times higher than previously projected.
But in the case of millions-of-years-old dinosaur bones, any 14 C present would have long since decayed, making radiocarbon dating only good for about samples that are at most 75 years old 2. Accurate dating of samples requires that the parent radioactive isotope has a long enough half-life such that it will still be quantifiable today. When did Asteroids hit. See below and on our Carbon 14 dating page. Carbon 14 Dating. DINOSAUR SOFT TISSUE AND OTHER ORGANIC MATERIAL FOUND DINOSAUR ORGANIC MATERIAL: Not only has dinosaur blood blood vessels, and collagen been found and confirmed by the whole scientific community, now fragments of collagen and iron rich proteins have been. "Of course carbon dating isn't going to work on your Allosaurus bone. That method is only accurate to 40, years. So I would expect to get some weird number like 16, years if you carbon date a millions of years old fossil.
Its arrival was caught on video. The impact was calculated as the equivalent of a blast oftons of TNT. It shattered windows and damaged over 3, buildings and injured people. It could have been a lot worse of course. It points out the imminent danger of another large meteorite or asteroid from outer space wiping out possibly whole civilizations. An Asteroid labled tc-4 will supposedly miss the earth by miles on October 12,13 of That is terribly close. Third : Presented at the AGU Singapore conference, there was less than 20 parts per million of uranium and thorium in the dinosaur bones that contained large quantities of modern carbon, so much that it registered mid-range in the AMS accelerator mass spectrometry capabilities.
Fourth : In a meeting with RSR, a geologist with a degree from Colorado's School of Mines who has a background in nuclear physics who also spent years bombarding various elements with neutrons to make isotopes for industry told RSR that Carbon does not easily absorb neutrons because it is the heavier elements beginning with Sodium that readily capture neutrons.
Further, while it is relatively unlikely that a Carbon atom will capture a free neutron, industrial processes use Carbon to slow down neutrons, whereas they use heavier elements, typically starting with Silicon, which is almost double the atomic weight of Carbon, for neutron capture. Creating 14c from Nitrogen, then, has essentially the same problem, because Carbon and Nitrogen are neighbors on the periodic table.
Fifth : Dr. Paul Giem writes that, "since nitrogen creates carbon from neutronstimes more easily than does carbon," samples with even tiny amounts of nitrogen would dramatically increase carbon dates, such that, "If neutron capture is a significant source of carbon in a given sample, radiocarbon dates should vary wildly with the nitrogen content of the sample.
S report for coal, basalt, shales, granite, fly ash, etc. Jonathan Sarfati builds upon Dr. Giem's research arguing that neutron capture could account for less than one 10,th of the C in diamonds see these peer-reviewed calculations.
Therefore, there would have to be thousands of times more uranium, thorium, etc. The young earth model predicts the finding of significant quantities of carbon 14 throughout the bone. The evolutionary model would predict no modern carbon in such a bone, but as a secondary assumption, if 14c is found, since any contaminating material would have to pass through the outer layers of the bone to get into the center, the contamination explanation would expect to measure generally decreasing percentages of 14c from the outside to the center of each individual bone.
A second experiment, beginning as above, would be to date a small diameter bone and a larger diameter bone from the same dinosaur. Getting the same dates would help rule out contamination because the smaller bone will have a larger surface to volume ratio which, if contamination were a significant factor, should result in higher percentages of modern carbon. A third experiment that could falsify contamination as a possible source of 14c involves: 1 Obtain diamonds from the Popigai Astroblem mine.
With the announcement that these reserves in Siberia contain diamonds that are "twice as hard as normal", these will be ideal for 14c dating because their natural hardness would further rule out contamination. Also, evolutionary geologists claim that these diamonds were already ancient when, allegedly 35 million years ago, a meteor impacted above them.
You dinosaur bone carbon dating shoulders
The evolutionary model predicts no carbon dead 14c. The young earth model predicts significant quantities of 14c measurable throughout the diamond. A fourth experiment that could falsify contamination as a possible source of 14c involves radiocarbon dating of allegedly million-year-old amber, by selecting pristine specimens, the condition of which may also help to rule out contamination.
Hear Bob's interview with Steve.
Also, at the 7th ICC Dr. Dating bones in situand dating their surrounding matrix, will elimate various sources of possible contamination and provide significant additional data.
Consider then, the fossil remains of organisms that had lived near the surface but that have been long buried in ocean sediments.
If neutron capture were responsible for much of the unexpected 14c, then collectively, such ocean specimens, collectively, should have far less 14c than specimens excavated on the continents.
Further, more analysis should be done on relevant specimens excavated from uranium minescomparing their radiocarbon percentages to similar in type and estimated date specimens gathered away from uranium mines.
Thus, marine deposit specimens and uranium mine specimens can function as control groups. Regardless though, for an uncontaminated specimen like diamonds, pure collagen, dinosaur soft tissue, etc.
Out of every trillion Carbon atoms in the atmosphere, only about one is 14c.
Further, significant unknowns, both in the rates of 14c production in the atmosphere, and in the Earth's enormous geologic upheaval in the past, could have altered the 1,to-1 ratio. Henry Richterthe NASA scientist who launched our first satellite, oversaw development of the scientific equipment used on the first lunar missions, and who played an important role in the early discovery of the Van Allen radiation belt.

By the way, Dr. If you know of a web page where this is described, please email that link to Bob kgov.
Also, as only widely recognized inlightning can produce 14c. See rsr. We have a young earth! Our planet's more powerful magnetic field in the past better shielded Earth from cosmic rays, resulting in less Carbon production. This means that carbon ages of specimens from past millennia and even from only centuries ago need to be adjusted downward. So apart from adjustment for the exponentially decaying magnetic field, specimens are therefore younger than their radiocarbon age indicates.
Decontaminated dinosaur bones Carbon-14 dated
For, living with a stronger field, plants and animals absorbed less radiocarbon. So, in addition to the evidence for rapid radioactive decay at the time of the global flood, the Earth's decaying magnetic field means that specimens are generally younger than claimed by Carbon dating. This effect may be significant going back even only to the time of Christ, and might also be a factor in why 14c dating of the artifacts of the Pharaohs were not as helpful as had been hoped for in resolving debates in chronology among Egyptologists.
See more at RealScienceRadio. So it is left to creationists to make sure this footnote in science history is not forgotten, including Walt BrownPaul Giemand John Baumgardner.
And any suggestion, including the neutron star merger hypothesis, that proposes production of such elements in deep space is a non-starter and falsified by the solar system's non-uniform distribution of isotopes.
Therefore, the last theory standing for the origin of radioactivity, and the one that explains the physical evidence and has extensive experimental support from laboratory science, is Walt Brown's creation-based Hydroplate Theory as described at rsr.

Researchers have found a reason for the puzzling survival of soft tissue and DNA fragments in dinosaur bones - the bones are younger than anyone ever guessed. Carbon (C) dating of multiple samples of bone from 8 dinosaurs found in Texas, Alaska, Colorado, and Montana revealed that they are only 22, to 39, years old.
As a former on-air guest rsr. In the HPT, what appears to be accelerated radioactive decay applies to elements in the crust and inside the subterranean water chamber beneath the firmament.
So as a result of widespread misunderstanding of Earth's history, old-earth geologists contend with infamously contradictory million- and billion-year radiometric dates, whereas carbon dating is not subject to the same extreme physical forces that play havoc with other radiometric dating methods.
Duane Gish, highly qualified to address the topic, points out that factors affecting a specimen, including variation in temperature and especially pH acidity vs. Merely giving the old-age assumption the benefit of the doubt, however, by assuming the lowest reasonable alkalinity and temperatures for the life of the specimen, retains amino acid racemization as a powerful tool for falsifying million and billion year dates, especially when combined with extant soft tissue and plentiful radiocarbon.
